1.BCCL Officials to Receive Housing Allowance After Eight Years
Excellent news for BCCL officials! The directorate of the coal company has decided to resume their housing allowance after almost eight years. The BCCL will award 1910 officials with this benefit. The establishment department has been sending letters to the officials since March 14th, requesting documents. An HR benefit of 16% will be given to them. The letter makes it very clear that approval for the HR of officials whose homes are jointly owned by them, their spouse, or their parents was granted during the functional director’s meeting. The concerned official must submit an application in line with the 2010 Coal India HR Rules.

XISS Ranchi and UNICEF Jharkhand are joining hands to promote child protection. The MOU between the two institutions was signed on Wednesday. They will run the ‘Sampark’ program to strengthen child protection in the state. This will assist district administration in ensuring the child protection system. The Sampark program will be implemented in various districts including Devghar, Dumka, Garhwa, Giridih, Godda, Hazaribagh, Jamtara, Koderma, Pakur, Palamu, West Singhbhum, and Sahibganj. It aims to end child marriage and violence against children, ensuring action on related cases. XISS Director Dr. Joseph Mariyanus Kujur SJ stated that the institution consistently takes serious steps on social issues. UNICEF Jharkhand, along with XISS, will empower children with their rights, ensuring a secure future for youth.
