After holding massive INDIA’s Mega Rally in Mumbai and Delhi, INDIA leaders are gearing up for a power-packed demonstration in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, on April 21st.
Lok Sabha Election Buzz
This event, named the “Justice Ulgulan Mega Rally,” will see top leaders from 28 political parties, including Congress, RJD, and Aam Aadmi Party, raising their voices against the BJP and the central government. Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has spearheaded this initiative.
Key Attendees
The rally will witness the presence of prominent figures such as former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, Uddhav Thackeray, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, and other senior leaders.
Targeting the Centre on Various Issues
Former Chief Minister Hemant Soren will be the focal point of the rally. The stalwarts will surround the central government on issues including misuse of central agencies and other pressing matters.
Kalpana Soren, wife of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, has taken full charge of the rally’s preparations. She is not only engaging with the party workers but has also initiated coordination with alliance party leaders. With her husband’s absence, Kalpana Soren is leading the charge.
Preparation and Strategy
In a crucial meeting held on Sunday, attended by Pradesh Congress in-charge Gulam Ahmed Mir, Pradesh Congress President Rajesh Thakur, JMM General Secretary Vinod Pandey, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MLA Vinod Kumar Singh, and State Minister Satyanand Bhokta, strategies for the success of the Justice Ulgulan Mega Rally were discussed. The strategy includes rallying five lakh people from across the state to the Prabhat Tara Maidan.
In addition to the mega rally, discussions were also held regarding a joint campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. It was decided that the campaign pace will pick up after April 21st. Kalpana Soren will be a star campaigner for the alliance.
Invitations Extended to Central Leaders
Invitations have been extended to a plethora of central leaders for the mega rally, including former Congress President Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal, MPs Sanjay Singh and Saurabh Bharadwaj, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray, NCP (Pawar faction) leader Sharad Pawar, Farooq Abdullah, Mehbooba Mufti, Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, BSP General Secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya, CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury, and other alliance leaders.
Preparations at INDIA Central Office in Jharkhand
To prepare for the mega rally, a meeting was held at the INLD’s central office in Jharkhand with top officials from various districts. On Saturday, Kalpana Soren herself visited the office. In the meeting, party leaders instructed district presidents to begin preparations in their respective districts as time is limited.
District presidents, district secretaries, and party officials from Hazaribagh, Ramgarh, Bokaro, Garhwa, Palamu, Koderma, Giridih, Purbi Singhbhum, and Pashchimi Singhbhum districts participated in the meeting held on Saturday.
Meetings were also held on Saturday with party officials from Simdega, Latehar, Khunti, Chatra, Ranchi, Dhanbad, and Gumla districts.
This rally aims to be a massive gathering, showcasing the strength and unity of the INLD and its allies ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Kalpana Soren has urged party workers and supporters from all districts to participate in the mega rally in large numbers.
