Jharkhand CM Prioritizes Teaching Local Tribal Language Learning

Jharkhand CM Chamber in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, Chief Minister Champai Soren has emphasized the urgent need to begin teaching tribal languages in all state-run schools.

Sitting alongside esteemed officials, the Chief Minister directed them to ensure the availability of tribal language education in schools, giving priority to the rich local tribal languages. He urged officials to expedite preparations to start teaching tribal languages.

“Prepare to Start Tribal Language Education Soon,” says CM The Chief Minister instructed officials to promptly appoint specialized teachers for all tribal languages, including Santali, Ho, Kurukh, Kharia, Mundari, and others. He emphasized the importance of starting the teaching of tribal languages from the primary classes, hence the need for swift preparations.

Present at this occasion were Minister for Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Backward Classes Welfare, Deepak Birua; Additional Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar; Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Vinay Kumar Choubey; Secretary of Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Backward Classes Welfare Department, Kripanand Jha; Secretary of School Education and Literacy Department, Uma Shankar Singh, along with other officials.

The Chief Minister’s push for tribal language education aims to preserve and promote the diverse cultural heritage of Jharkhand’s tribal communities, ensuring that their languages are not lost to future generations.
