Chief Minister Hemant Soren addressed the ‘Government at Your Door’ program at the Pahudu Market Committee premises. During this event, the CM made significant announcements aimed at benefiting students and the economically disadvantaged.

So far, no one had witnessed the completion of the Kalyan Hostel since its establishment. The state government is actively working on the rejuvenation of more than 500 hostels. Simultaneously, efforts are underway to demolish dilapidated buildings and construct new and improved hostels. Students residing in Kalyan Hostels will no longer be required to bring money for meals or essential groceries from their homes.

The state government has decided to provide free meals to students in hostels. Chief Minister Hemant Soren emphasized that the government is committed to offering quality education and all necessary facilities to students. These announcements were made during the Chief Minister’s address at the ‘Government at Your Door’ program held at the Pahudu Market Committee premises on Saturday.

The CM highlighted that the Kalyan Hostel, after its construction, had not been inspected by anyone. The state government is actively working on the renovation of over 500 Kalyan Hostels. The demolition of deteriorating structures is in progress, with plans to construct new and improved hostels.

These initiatives are a testament to the state government’s commitment to providing not only quality education but also essential amenities to students.
