State Government Accelerates Appointment Processes in Jharkhand

The state government in Jharkhand is gearing up for the appointment processes for thousands of posts through the Jharkhand Employee Selection Commission and Jharkhand Public Service Commission. While notifications have already been released for many of these posts, new advertisements are also coming up. The online application process for multiple positions will commence on Wednesday, April 5th.

Postgraduate Trained Teachers to be Appointed for 3,121 Posts

Postgraduate trained teachers will be appointed to a total of 3,121 posts in the state’s Plus Two High Schools. This includes 2,855 regular and 266 backlog posts. Direct appointment will be made for 75% of the posts, while 25% of the posts will be reserved for secondary teachers who have served a minimum of three years.

Online Application Process for Postgraduate Trained Teacher Examination

The online application process for the Postgraduate Trained Teacher Competition Examination-2023, to be held for these posts, will be open from April 5th to May 4th. Candidates will be required to pay the examination fee by May 6th. Any amendments to the application can be made between May 10th and 12th.

No Negative Marking in the Exam

According to the Jharkhand Employee Selection Commission, candidates who had applied for the Postgraduate Trained Teacher Competition Examination in 2022 (for which the application process was completed) will need to reapply under the prescribed age limit and other qualifications. However, they will not have to pay the examination fee again. The examination for the appointment of postgraduate trained teachers will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in a single phase (main examination). All questions in the examination will be objective and multiple choice answers. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

Appointment of Laboratory Assistants and Principals

Similarly, the online application process for the appointment of 690 laboratory assistants in the state’s high schools will also begin on April 5th. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology disciplines will appoint 230 laboratory assistants each. The last date for online application has been set as May 4th. Candidates can make amendments to the application form from May 10th to 12th. Examination fee can be paid by May 6th, and photo and signature can be uploaded by May 8th. Candidates who have applied based on the previously released advertisement will also need to reapply, but they will not have to pay the examination fee again. The main examination for the appointment of laboratory assistants will also be computer-based and will consist of objective questions.Additionally, online applications will be filled from April 5th for the appointment of 39 principals in 59 state and stately child/child Plus Two high schools in the state. The last date for online application is set as May 8th, and the examination fee can be paid by May 11th. A hard copy of the application must be submitted to the Commission office by May 26th.

Amendment to Manual for Appointment of Training Officers

The Department of Labor, Planning, and Training in Jharkhand has amended the manual for the appointment of training officers in the state’s ITI for the third time. The Jharkhand Employee Selection Commission may issue advertisements for these posts this month. Postgraduate trained teachers and laboratory assistants are also to be appointed through the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.
