In a surprising move, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has taken a strict stance by revoking the recognition of 17 schools in Jharkhand. The decision comes as a result of non-compliance with CBSE bylaws and a host of infrastructural deficiencies that have raised concerns about the quality of education being provided.
Bokaro district is at the epicenter of this educational shake-up, with a staggering nine schools facing the cancellation of their recognition. Ranchi is also not spared, with two schools in the capital city facing a similar fate.
