In a sudden turn of events, the proposed program of Prime Minister Modi scheduled for February 4 in Dhanbad has been canceled. This confirmation comes from lawmaker Raj Sinha, and the administration has also officially announced the relief. The administration had been actively preparing for the program.

Preparations in Full Swing for PM’s Visit

Elaborate preparations were underway for the Prime Minister’s visit, with tent pandals set up in Barwadda for the PM’s gathering. The scheduled events on February 4 included the Prime Minister’s rally in Dhanbad, the inauguration of the Harl Plant in Sindri, Rahul Gandhi’s Justice Yatra, and the establishment day celebration of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Additionally, the JSSC examination was also scheduled to take place. The cancellation of the Prime Minister’s program is being attributed to the clash of these major events.

Political Turmoil in Jharkhand

Chief Minister Hemant Soren, currently entangled in the land scam case, arrived in Ranchi this afternoon after leaving for Delhi on Saturday. The ED team reached his residence in Delhi on Monday but could not meet him, with the team waiting for 13 hours. This development has triggered political turbulence in Jharkhand, especially after the ED’s actions against CM Soren in Delhi. Today, a meeting of legislators was convened to discuss the situation.
