May 15, 2024, forms for enrollment in the Bachelor Vocational Courses (Session 2024-27) will be available in all affiliated colleges/departments/institutions under Ranchi University. The duly filled forms must be submitted to the respective college/department/institution by May 30, 2024. Prospective students from the General/OBC category can obtain the forms and prospectus by paying Rs. 500, while students from the SC/ST category can get them by paying Rs. 400. Detailed information can be obtained from the university’s website and the concerned colleges/departments/institutions.
Various Bachelor Vocational Courses (three-year duration) are offered in Ranchi University, including Biotechnology, BCA, Fashion Designing, IT, BBA, CND, Computer Maintenance, Environmental and Water Management, Mass Communication, B.Sc. in Allied Sciences, and BBA/LLB/Archeology and Museology. Additionally, students can enroll in courses like One-Year Diploma, Digital Photography and Film Making, Amenity Survey, etc. Enrollment fees will be submitted at the respective colleges/departments/institutions. Even 12th-grade students can enroll provisionally.
If seats remain vacant after the commencement of the session, enrollment may still be possible in the respective courses. Colleges can accept enrollment fees online/offline as per their convenience. The list of selected students will be released by June 7, 2024, based on the decisions of the respective colleges/departments/institutions. The academic session is scheduled to commence from July 1, 2024.
Interested students can now apply for enrollment in the Coaching for Post Graduate Student (CPPS) conducted by Ranchi University until May 25, 2024. Enrollment will be based on an entrance exam, the date of which will be announced later. According to Course Coordinator Dr. Sunil Kumar Singh, this will be the ninth batch of the coaching center. The coaching center primarily prepares students for banking, railway, SSC, and other competitive exams. Students enrolled in various departments under Ranchi University with a maximum family income of two lakh rupees can also enroll in the ongoing coaching in the Department of Postgraduate Physics. Along with the form, an Aadhaar card and a copy of the parent’s income certificate will need to be submitted. Students pursuing diplomas in any department will not be eligible for enrollment.
