Jharkhand Promotion News:

The JPSC Board convened on Monday in Jharkhand. Alongside the Board’s Chairman, the Home Secretary and DGP were also present during this session. Putting an end to a four-year-long wait, the Board officially stamped the promotion of 93 police inspectors in the state to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). The Jharkhand Police Association expressed joy following this decision. Following the Board’s seal of approval, the state government, Home Secretary, and DGP were extended gratitude.

After a prolonged four-year wait, the promotion of 93 police inspectors to DSP in the state has been approved. The Jharkhand Police Association expressed happiness on Monday when the Jharkhand Lok Seva Aayog (JPSC) Board officially sanctioned the promotions. Besides the JPSC Chairman, the Home Secretary and DGP were present at the Board meeting.

The notification for these promotions will be issued very soon, after which the list will be made public. The Jharkhand Police Association expressed their joy at the promotion of 93 police inspectors to DSP and extended gratitude to the state government, Home Secretary, and DGP.

What the Association’s Secretary Had to Say The Association’s Secretary, Akshay Ram, stated that it is delightful to receive promotions after such a long period. He expressed optimism that future promotions would also be updated. The meeting of the JPSC Board took place following the green signal from the High Court.

Prior to this, the promotion committee’s meeting of the JPSC Board was scheduled for November 7th. However, on October 31st, the court imposed a halt on promotions.

In light of this order, Avinash Kumar, the Additional Chief Secretary of the Home Affairs and Disaster Management Department, had written a letter on November 6th, proposing to reconsider the decision to hold the meeting. The meeting scheduled for November 7th was postponed. The court’s restriction on promotions was lifted on November 7th, coinciding with the rescheduled meeting date.
