PM Modi to Dedicate 1607 Kisan Samridhi Kendras to Jharkhand
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to inaugurate 1607 Kisan Samridhi Kendras in Jharkhand on Thursday, July 27. The inauguration ceremony will take place at 10:00 AM, and these centers will be spread across the entire state.
Kisan Samridhi Kendras serve as comprehensive one-stop shops for farmers, offering a wide range of services, including crop advisory, access to agricultural machinery, and financial assistance. Additionally, these centers are equipped with training facilities to support skill development among the farming community.
The establishment of these centers is part of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Yojana (PMKSY), a centrally-sponsored scheme aimed at doubling the income of farmers
The inauguration of 1607 Kisan Samridhi Kendras in Jharkhand marks a significant step taken by the government to provide farmers with modern technology and resources. These centers are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing farmers’ productivity and elevating their livelihoods.
About the Kisan Samridhi Yojana
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Yojana (PMKSY) was launched in 2016 as a centrally-sponsored scheme. The primary objective of the scheme is to double the income of farmers.
