Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) will hold the Jharkhand Joint Civil Services Preliminary Examination (Backlog) on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at various centers in Ranchi district.

The examination will be held in two shifts. The first shift (from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM) will be for the first paper of general studies, and the second shift (from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM) will be for the second paper of general studies. The examination will be conducted on OMR sheets.

Each paper will be worth 200 marks, and will consist of objective questions. To prevent cheating, CCTV cameras and jammers have been installed at the examination centers. Applicant’s faces will be identified, and iris detection will also be used.

Jharkhand CM to Hand Over Employment Letters to 2,500 Youths on Monday

Ranchi, India – The Jharkhand government is committed to providing 75% employment to local youth in the private sector. In line with this, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will hand over employment letters to 2,500 youths on Monday, January 22, 2024, at the Tana Bhagat Stadium in Ranchi.

The youths have been selected for employment in private companies, including Arvind Textiles, Kishore Export, Shri Ganapati Creation, Urban Design Private Limited, Matrix Clothing, Valencia Apparels, and Orient Craft Textiles.

Earlier, as per the direction of the Chief Minister, around 56,000 youths have been provided employment letters through employment fairs organized at the divisional level.

Textile Industries in Ranchi Provide Employment to Thousands of Youths

The landscape of Kulhi village in Ormanjhi, Ranchi, has changed in recent years due to the establishment of several textile industries. In just three years, these industries have provided employment to over 10,000 youths in Ranchi.

The textile factories in Kulhi are not only providing employment, but are also providing better facilities to their employees. About 90% of the workers in these factories are women.

It is said that girls who were employed in other states during the COVID-19 pandemic were brought back to Ranchi and given employment in these factories. Some workers who were safely rescued from the newly constructed tunnel accident in Uttarakhand have also been provided employment in the industries in Kulhi.

The textile industries in Kulhi Industrial Area are using world-class machines to manufacture clothes for world-renowned brands. Clothes made in Kulhi are being exported to countries all over the world, including the United Kingdom, the United States, and Germany.
