Jharkhand is all set to open five new Central Schools in the near future. To make this a reality, the Department of School Education and Literacy has gathered information regarding the availability of land from district officials. Additionally, directions have been issued to complete the necessary procedures promptly.

Furthermore, preparations are underway to establish a military school in Dumka. The initiation of the process to open the school will follow the availability of suitable land.

The new Central Schools are set to open in Devghar, Jamshedpur, Rajmahal (Sahibganj), Pakur, and Mahagama (Godda). In Devghar, land has already been made available within the premises of the AIIMS campus. The regional office of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in Ranchi has been informed about this development.

Similarly, a second branch of the Central School will be established in Jamshedpur. The district officials have been requested to provide information regarding the suitability of land for this purpose.

In Mahagama (Godda), land in the ECL area has been made available, and a request has been sent to ECL’s CMD to provide an NOC. In a similar manner, steps are being taken to complete the necessary formalities for the establishment of Central Schools in Rajmahal and Pakur.

Meanwhile, the state government has decided to establish a military school in Dumka, shifting the location from Godda. The school will be situated in Jarmundi. The request for inspecting the available land has been made to the Ministry of Defence’s Military School Society. Upon approval of the land, the transfer process will commence.
