Deputy Commissioner Ramnivas Yadav stated that in compliance with the Election Commission’s directives, the draft voter list format will be released at all polling centers on October 27. People can raise objections until December 9, with special camps scheduled on October 28, 29, and November 4, 5.

Through these camps, election-related services like name registration, corrections, and photo replacements will be provided. Information regarding voter helpline apps and voter service portals will be given. Officials provided details on the voter list verification to journalists at the Collectorate Auditorium on Thursday.

They informed that on December 26, claims and objections will be resolved. The final publication of the voter list will be done on January 5. On November 28, remote communities will be registered in the voter list under the campaign. A special drive will be conducted on November 29 in all rain baseras and shelters for the registration of eligible citizens and homeless individuals. This event was attended by Additional District Magistrate Vinay Mishra, District Public Relations Officer Savita Singh, Deputy Election Officer Sunita Kisku, and Block Development Officer Subodh Kumar.

Barhadiwa: Unified Format Voter List Publication for Upcoming Lok Sabha Elections Announced

The unified format voter list for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections will be published this Friday. Claims and objections can be submitted from October 27 to December 19. Sunny Kumar Das, BDO, made this announcement in his office today. Claims and objections received until December 19 will be resolved by December 26. A special campaign by the state team will be conducted on October 28, 29, and November 4, 5 for the verification of the voter list format at the block offices.
