Jharkhand residents are soon to receive another gift in the form of a new “Vande Bharat” train. On March 12, the green flag will be raised at the Ranchi station. Prior to this, two Vande Bharat trains have been operating from Ranchi to Howrah and Patna, which have been well-received among the people.
Prime Route to Kashi Vishwanath Temple Made Easier
The wait for passengers traveling from Ranchi to Varanasi on the Vande Bharat train has been ongoing for many days, but now their wait is about to come to an end. It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the journey with a virtual conference. The operation of the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train will particularly benefit those travelers who visit Kashi continuously for the darshan of Lord Shiva. Additionally, those traveling to Ayodhya from Varanasi will find it easier to reach their destination.
Know the Route and Fare
Speaking of the route of the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train, it will pass through Bokaro Steel City, Hazaribagh, Koderma, and Gaya Junction. As for the fares, the chair car fare from Ranchi to Varanasi could range from Rs. 1300 to Rs. 1400. Meanwhile, the executive class fare could be between Rs. 2200 and Rs. 2400. However, there has been no official announcement regarding the fares yet.
Timings to Note
The Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train will depart from Ranchi at 5:50 AM and arrive in Varanasi at 12:10 PM. It will then depart from Varanasi at 1:30 PM and reach Ranchi at 7:50 PM. It is worth mentioning that there are four trains operating between Ranchi and Varanasi on different routes, taking approximately 11 to 13 hours. However, with the Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat train, people will cover the distance in just 6.30 hours. The schedule has not been finalized yet but a decision will be made soon.
