In a heartwarming incident, a 6-month-old baby suffering from a congenital heart condition faced a severe health crisis aboard an IndiGo flight from Ranchi to Delhi this Saturday. Quick thinking and heroic efforts from fellow passengers, including two doctors, led to the child’s life being saved. Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer and trained doctor, Dr. Nitin Kulkarni, along with another medical professional, administered emergency medical aid using adult-sized masks and other medications available on the flight.

The medical team on board provided oxygen support and stabilized the baby, who was later admitted to AIIMS. The incident was shared by a passenger, A.S. Deol, on social media, praising the doctors as “angels sent by God.” This commendable act of humanity and expertise showcases the power of compassion and immediate action, ensuring the safety and well-being of the child.

Governor CP Radhakrishnan extended his gratitude and recognition to IAS officer Madan Kulkarni for his exceptional efforts, acknowledging his dedication to the service of humanity and emphasizing the need for such exemplary acts to inspire others.{Miraculous In-Flight}
