Jharkhand State Olympics 2023: JCEERT Declares First Phase Results, Second Phase Exam Dates Revealed

Jharkhand Academic Research and Training Institute (JCEERT) have released the results of the first phase examination of Jharkhand State Olympics 2023. Out of 1,489 students who appeared for this exam, 1,489 have been declared eligible for the second phase. The second phase examination is expected to take place on January 29-30. Students who secure the first position at the state level in each class and subject through the second phase exam will be honored at the state level.

The first phase exam for Jharkhand Olympics took place from December 17 to 19 at designated centers determined by JCEERT. This examination was conducted for students in classes seven, eight, and nine in government schools. It covered five subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and General Studies. Students could participate in exams for one or more subjects.

JCEERT, while announcing the results of this examination, has granted permission to all 1,489 students who secured the top three positions in subjects, classes, and districts to participate in the upcoming second-phase examination.

Director Kiran Kumari Pasi of JCEERT has instructed all district education officers to provide information about the second-phase exam to the selected students and prepare them accordingly. However, students will have limited time for the preparation of the second phase exam.

It’s worth mentioning that the first phase exam was also delayed. Originally scheduled for June last year, it was conducted in December instead.

63% Attendance in First Phase

A total of 1,12,527 students registered for the first phase examination, out of which 70,720 students participated. This represents an attendance rate of approximately 63%.

State-level Awards

Students who secure the first position at the state level in each class and subject through the second phase exam will be honoured with state-level awards.
