Jharkhand Government Provide welfare of state employees, the Hemant Soren-led government in Jharkhand has announced a major step. Now, all government employees can avail themselves of home loan benefits without any collateral. This provision will apply to employees across all categories, and the decision was made during a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
Documents Required for Home Loan:
- Identity proof (PAN card, passport, Aadhar card, voter ID, any of these)
- Age proof (Aadhar card, PAN card, passport, birth certificate, any of these)
- Residential proof (bank passbook, voter ID, ration card, passport, utility bills)
- LIC policy receipt (any relevant document confirming address from recognized government authority)
- Income-related documents: For salaried individuals, the last two to three years’ Form-16, salary slips for the last two to three months, increment or promotion letter, the last three years’ income tax returns, investment-related proofs (e.g., fixed deposits, shares), and passport-sized photos.
- Fully filled application form
Previously, government employees were required to submit land papers as collateral for home loans.
