Residents of Silly Murhi in Jharkhand received a special gift – the Puri-Anand Vihar Express train. Sanjay Seth, the Member of Parliament from Ranchi, flagged off the new train from Murhi station on Saturday, waving a green flag.

This train will depart from Puri every Saturday evening at 03:53 and reach Murhi station at 03:55. From there, it will depart for Delhi Anand Vihar. On its return journey, it will depart from Delhi Anand Vihar every Sunday and reach Murhi station at 11:08 on Monday, departing for Puri at 11:10.

Sanjay Seth had previously advocated for a halt at Murhi and Chandil stations. He had taken this matter up with Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and now his efforts have come to fruition. On this occasion, Seth mentioned that Ranchi Lok Sabha constituency is the first parliamentary area where the Prime Minister has allocated ₹2400 crores for various projects in the past year.

He praised Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for transforming the image of Indian Railways. Present at the event were former MLA Ram Kumar Pahan, former Deputy Mayor Sanjeev Vijayvargiya, Dheeraj Mahato, Vinod Prasad Sahu, Rajendra Sai, Pramod Kushwaha, Gopal Kedia, Srishti Kumhar, Amit Mahato, Ashok Mahato, and several railway officials.
