The online application process for the 2024 matriculation exam has been launched by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) and will run until November 16, 2023, with a deadline of December 2, 2023. Applications can be submitted at jac.jharkhand.gov.in, the official JAC website. Regular students pay Rs. 200 for the exam, whereas private students must pay Rs. 300. It is mandatory for students to upload their documents, photo, and signature to the website. The exam is set for February–March 2024, and admit cards are expected to be issued in January 2024.
On its official website, the JAC has released the matriculation exam syllabus and sample papers in addition to information on the application process. It is recommended that students obtain these materials in order to prepare effectively. Notably, in reaction to the Covid-19 outbreak, the syllabus has been trimmed by thirty percent. With a passing score of 33% in each topic, the test structure allots 80 marks for theory and 20 marks for internal assessment.
Students are advised by the JAC to carefully complete the application and double-check all information before submitting it to guarantee a seamless application process.
