Birsa Munda Airport management will implement new arrangements for vehicle entry and parking starting from May 1. There will be a free 10-minute time slot for private vehicles from entry to exit at the airport. A maximum of five minutes will be allotted for pick-up and drop-off in front of the terminal building. The designated five minutes for pick-up and drop-off will also be part of the free 10-minute time slot. Efforts will be made to prevent unauthorized vehicle parking.
To reduce traffic congestion near the passenger terminal building, approximately 350 additional parking spaces have been allocated for vehicles.
In the coming days, automated arrangements for parking will be implemented at the airport. Additionally, appropriate measures will be taken with the assistance of the district administration to prevent unauthorized vehicle parking.
