Justice S. Chandrashekhar has been appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of the High Court. He will assume the responsibilities of Acting Chief Justice from December 29th. Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra is set to retire on December 28th. The notification of the appointment of Justice S. Chandrashekhar as the Acting Chief Justice has been issued by the Central Law Ministry.
Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra took the oath of office on February 20th of the same year. Justice S. Chandrashekhar, who has been appointed as the Acting Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court, will commence his duties as the Acting Chief Justice from December 29th.
This development comes as Chief Justice Sanjay Kumar Mishra bids farewell on December 28th. The Central Law Ministry released an official notification regarding the appointment of Justice S.
