In Jharkhand, Binod Bihari Mahto is awaiting a job interview at Koilanchal Vishwavidyalaya (BBMKU). He is among the 1,800 candidates who submitted online applications to the university for 130 need-based assistant professor positions. These applications are presently being examined by the university. After the examination is finished, the interview date will be determined. Interviews were originally scheduled to begin on March 20th, but it appears more likely that they will happen in April. Candidates who are eagerly awaiting this are like Binod.
Fifty of the 130 positions are available to anybody. The university has set aside 27 spots for candidates from Scheduled Tribes (ST), 15 spots for Scheduled Castes (SC), 14 spots for BC-1, 14 spots for BC-2, and 14 spots for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The university has 27 departments with open positions. The department of commerce has the greatest number of open positions. In addition, there are three positions in foreign language and one in Khortha. There are openings in numerous other departments as well. To finalize the date of the interview, discussions and meetings are taking place daily with college officials, according to BBMKU Vice-Chancellor Dr. Pawan Kumar Poddar.Their goal is to set up the interviews as soon as possible.The University of Michigan began accepting online applications on March 1st. The deadline was extended to March 18th after the screening was finished by March 13th. It’s possible that the university will release the April interview dates as March draws to a close.
