Ranchi Express (18610 – LTT RANCHI EXP): This train departs from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Ranchi in the evening at 4:35 PM and covers a distance of 37 hours and 50 minutes. It arrives in Ranchi around 6 AM the next morning.

Trains from Delhi, Howrah, Bangalore, and Pune to Ranchi for Holi are already fully booked. Seats have been unavailable since 21st March, with a long waiting list even before that date. In response to the crowd of passengers, the railway is considering running special trains and adding extra coaches. Currently, efforts are being made to run a special train for Jaynagar and Gorakhpur. A proposal has been sent to the headquarters regarding this.
